i spent a month away from playing the guitar. needless to say, this was rough.

Zoo rotation has wrapped up. It was quite a diverse experience. I'm not sure how much I can get into on the blog, but overall, I had a good time. Onto surgery. Ahhh.

Hahah, I've wanted to cover this song, but it was awkward. However, now I can proudly dedicate this song to Momo, who for all intents and purposes is now my son? Kinda?
MOMO. Twenty years from now, we'll sit down and share a beer; it'll be no bigs. I'll tell you how I picked you up and found tapeworms. IT WAS PAIN.


I have an outtake for this vid (not to imply that I tried many times cause this masterpiece you see here was my second attempt. Which explains. Everything). Anyway, I want to post the outtake at a certain point in time because Momo is on the chair at the beginning, and it's cute. Only, once I go to sit and play, I look like the worst person ever cause it looks like either
1. I've sat on Momo or
2. I've callously kicked him off the chair without even looking
BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED, see he was still on the chair for at least a minute into the video, cuddling. But yeah that outtake will never be loaded.

This one is truly atrocious, but I'm too lazy to refilm it. Also, the star maker said it ain't so bad. But the star maker is also full of it.

Forgive the lopsided tank, hulking farmer's tan arms, and general bad posture. I would redo it if I cared enough. Side tangent: my mom visited yesterday and halfway through her story, she stopped mid-sentence and jabbed at my arms, saying "so fat." My mom supports positive body image.

Also this is proof that kittens are the answer to all life's woes. WOES.

I might redo this song as an audio version to include all the doo dahs and maybe some banjo. We'll see how this goes.

Ignore the fact that my voice is cracking and etc. I have actually wanted to cover this song for ages; back when Jon "gave" me the guitar that he carved his name into, I remember figuring out the picking, so it has stayed in longer-term muscle memory than most things I learn.

In vetty news, 50% done!! It feels great; I've done nothing but read read read. SF in two days!
